# Referral programme

> Share your link and earn 20% of what the people you refer spend, as Scaling Room EcoTokens you can use like dollars.

Share your referral link. When someone signs up through it and buys a plan, **you earn 20%** of their purchase as
**Scaling Room EcoTokens (SRT)**. Each token is worth one dollar, and you can spend them on products, discounts and promo
codes across the Scaling Room ecosystem (Maildeck and its sister products such as LeadSonar and EmailShield).

There's no cap on how many people you can refer, and your tokens don't expire.

## How it works

1. **Share your unique referral link.** Find it on the **Affiliate** page in the app sidebar and click **Copy Link**.

2. **They sign up and purchase a plan.**

3. **You earn SRT tokens (1:1 dollar value).** Your earnings show on the Affiliate page as pending first, once the
   order completes.

> **Tip: Make your link memorable**
> On the Affiliate page you can change your referral code to something easier to share, such as your name or your
> company. It needs to be 4 to 32 characters and can't start or end with a hyphen.

## What SRT is

**SRT** stands for Scaling Room EcoTokens. Scaling Room is the group of products Maildeck belongs to.

| Do tokens expire? | No. They're permanent and can be redeemed any time at full dollar value. |
| Is there a limit on referrals? | No. Refer as many people as you like. |

## When you get your tokens

Commissions are worked out automatically when an order completes, and are marked as **pending** at first. Our team then
processes them by hand.

## Tracking your referrals

The Affiliate page shows how many people you've referred, what you've earned in total and what's still pending.

If a referral doesn't show up, or you have a question about your earnings, message a person through the chat bubble
in the app or your private Slack channel.
